Media manager

The media manager adds an Uploads & Media tab in various areas of Locaboo. There you can upload files, manage them, and optionally make them public on the booking platform.

The media manager is available in the following places:

In resource details, under Uploads & Media, you can upload files—for example hall rules, a site plan, or technical descriptions.

Public files appear on the resource page of the booking platform in the Uploads & Media section and are available to your customers for download.

In the booking sidebar under Uploads & Media you can attach documents to individual bookings—for example contracts, approvals, or minutes.

In service details under Uploads & Media you can upload descriptions or instructions as PDFs. They are then visible and downloadable in the booking details under the respective service.

As with services, you can attach documents for inventory items—for example operating instructions or safety data sheets.

In the customer profile you can store customer-related documents under Uploads & Media.

In widget settings under Uploads & Media you can upload files offered for download directly on the platform home page—for example a fee schedule or terms of use.

To upload a file on the platform:

  1. Go to Platform / widgets and click Edit on the desired widget.
  2. Open the Uploads & Media tab.
  3. Upload the file via drag & drop or the file picker.
  4. Give it a clear name.
  5. Enable Public and click Save.

The file will then be visible to your customers on the platform in the Uploads & Media section.


With the media manager you also get the File upload field type for custom fields. That lets you request files from customers on bookings—for example a club certificate or proof.


Your customers see on the booking platform:

  • For resources: In the resource’s Uploads & Media section, all public files for download.
  • For the platform: On the home page, in Uploads & Media, the documents stored there.
  • In the customer account: Under My account, customers can download files assigned to them.
